研究生 Transfer Credits Policy

Credits can be transferred to be used toward a graduate 学位 at the 365滚球官网 with approval of the student’s major professor, the committee (if required by the program), the program’s administrator, and the dean of the College of 研究生 Studies.

All graduate transfer credits are subject to the following requirements:

• Credits can be transferred 只有 if the institution from which the credits are being transferred has a graduate program in the course's discipline.
• All credits used toward graduate 学位s must be from regionally accredited American institutions or from non-US institutions recognized by the appropriate authorities in their respective countries. • Correspondence study courses may be applied to the 学位 只有 with the prior written approval of the College of 研究生 Studies (齿轮).
• Courses used toward an undergraduate 学位, professional development courses, and courses on a professional development transcript are 不 available to be used toward a graduate 学位.

• Courses numbered below 400 are 不 allowed to be transferred to a graduate 学位.

硕士学生:

• The combined total of transfer credits, correspondence credits, 非学位的学分, credits moved from an undergraduate transcript that were 不 used toward an undergraduate 学位, and approved credits more than eight years old at the time the 学位 is awarded shall 不 exceed 12 credits for master's programs designated as requiring 36 or fewer credits, and shall 不 exceed one-third of the total credits in designated programs requiring more than 36 credits. The student's program may set a lower limitation.

博士生:

• Up to 39 credits can be transferred to a doctoral 学位.
• If the transfer credits are eight years old or older, by the time of graduation from the 365滚球官网, 只有 30学分 可以转移.
• May 只有 transfer a maximum of 6 thesis or non-thesis research credits toward a Ph.D. 学位.
